A FLORAL DESIGN, BUSINESS BASICS & INSPIRATION EXPERIENCE HOSTED AT THE UNBELIEVABLY BREATHTAKING ‘FIELD OF ROSES’
Join Tanya of Oh Flora Studio along with local hosts, Zoe & Sue of Field of Roses for an unforgettable time of floral design, creative restoration, fun, friendships, personal and business growth in this inspiring , & dreamy location.
From the very beginnings of Oh Flora through to her now thriving business and recognisable designs, Tanya will share her way of floral design and the knowledge she's gained from her experience in the floral and event industry and answer all your design & business questions - with nothing off limits! She’ll openly discuss her preferred techniques & resources, where she turns to for fresh inspiration & the lessons learnt along the way. She will also share her behind the scenes business processes, pricing, proposals, social media and time-saving tips. Attendees will receive a hardcopy of Tanya's real price guide and service information, visual proposal and contract.
We’ll harvest an abundance of beautiful blooms, including garden roses, foxglove, sweet peas, clematis and so many more varieties + delicate textures & interesting foliages to be inspired by and create with.
Each attendee will have the opportunity to arrange their own rambling, bountiful bouquet & portrait style arrangement with personal instruction from Tanya.
Using real-life techniques, together we will complete an abundant large scale floral installation & bring together our very own dinner party. We’ll enjoy the floral heaven we’ve created over a catered dinner & wine tasting. You’ll have time to freshen up on the farm & relax before dinner, taking a wander once more through the dreamscape that is Field of Roses. Transport will be organised this day (day 4) so that you can enjoy a vino or two & arrive home safely.
During the workshop, attendees will have their work beautifully styled and professionally photographed for their portfolio. Candid working images and a headshot will also be captured.
All meals and refreshments while on the farm will be provided as well a welcome drinks on night one.

This class is suitable for all design levels. It is aimed at those mad flower lovers, those exploring the field, beginners within the floral industry & those wanting to expand and refine their skills, aesthetic & portfolio. No previous experience required.
To keep things intimate and to maintain a great learning environment, there is a maximum of 13 students for this class.

Team Meeting: We’ll discuss the details, proposal & mood board for our own dinner party, just as the Oh Flora team would for real life events!
This day will include designing & “bump in” of our own dinner party hosted on the farm, including table styling, simplified table florals & a large scale installation - This will be a hands on, team experience where you’ll get involved in all aspects of the design.

INVESTMENT
$3900 AUD
We understand this is an investment in yourself, and very much appreciate the sacrifices made to come along. We are offering an affordable payment plan of 3 instalments, (if registering less than 6 weeks out from the workshop, a deposit of $1300 is due now to secure your place with the remaining balance of $2600 due 10 days prior to the workshop commencement OR you can make your full payment now).
Please note, places are NOT refundable. ALL payments, once made are non refundable. In the unfortunate situation, you may become unable to attend, you place can be transferred to another at your own doing. This action will need to be recorded with Oh Flora.
We appreciate your understanding of this strict cancellation policy that is needed for our small business.
There is a minimum of 8 students needed for the class to be held. In the unfortunate event, we do not meet this minimum, all students will receive a full refund. All students will be informed at least 60 days prior to workshop start date - please keep this in mind when booking flights and insurance.
PLEASE NOTE: Travel, accommodation & transport to and from the farm is NOT included. Shortly upon booking, you will receive a short list of hotel recommendations in Gisborne.
We always recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance when travelling abroad. It's also important to check if you may need a visa to access New Zealand or when in transit (stopovers).
