Each table abundantly filled with centrepieces, fruits, bud vases of peonies, silk runners and dusty pink dinner candles. Place settings were layered with detailed ceramic charger plates, fine glassware, linen napkins, beautiful custom menus and classic silver cutlery.

Oh what an engagement party it was! ... even if I do say so myself!
We wanted to celebrate our recent engagement by the water and in the warmth of the sun, and oh my gosh we got warm... it was a boiling hot day (so set up was kinda mad/sweaty/hot) but as you’ll see below, it was all worth it!

Light flooded into the open studio space as we waited for the eager attendees to arrive. If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen that I recently travelled to the Skagit Valley, WA in the USA to be part of Team Floret. What an honour it was to help teach an incredible group of eager to learn, flower loving souls!
(This is my second year as part of the team, and third time visiting Floret - I was an attendee in 2015 at the Wildflowers Workshop).
So I was about to clean my studio yesterday morning and then a bucket of leftover blooms caught my eye... and so here we are! I excused it as practice with my blogging and photo skills, which is true - however my studio is still a big mess right now! Gotta get onto that asap.
